I took a trip to Seattle and Portland recently to visit some shops and a few friends.
In Portland I made my way to Floating World Comics and Reading Frenzy. Floating World had just moved into a new corner location around the block from their old location. Their new store has a lot of nice natural light and I found some good books and zines there I hadn’t seen anywhere else.
Reading Frenzy was a nice, small store and I bought a back-issue of the fashion journal WORN.
In Seattle I went to the Fantagraphics store and enjoyed looking through their backroom full of scratch and dent deals.
